The City Council is the legislative body of and for the City of Keego Harbor. A Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and Council Members comprise the City Council. At the organization meeting in November following the general election, Council elects one of its members Mayor and one of its members Mayor Pro Tem each for a one year term.
The City Council:
- establishes policies and regulations necessary to govern the affairs of the city;
- provides governmental services needed to promote the general welfare of the City's residents and to maintain the public peasce, health, and safety of property and persons of the city;
- recognizes and fosters community identity; and
- assures organizational results.
