Serve your community on Election Day.
Election inspectors are the poll workers who run our precincts on Election Day. They check in voters, issue ballots, assist residents, and help make sure every election in Keego Harbor is administered accurately and fairly. The City welcomes applications from residents interested in serving.
Basic Qualifications: To serve as an election inspector, applicants must meet the State of Michigan’s eligibility requirements, which include:
Compensation: In 2026, election inspectors are paid $15.00 per hour, a rate set by the Keego Harbor City Council.
Training Requirement: All election inspectors must complete and pass the State of Michigan’s required training before serving. The training is offered online. Once you complete it, the City receives a copy of your training certification. Inspectors may not be assigned to a precinct until their application has been processed and their certification is on file.
