Department of Public Works

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for maintaining the City's public infrastructure and helping keep Keego Harbor safe, clean, and welcoming throughout the year. The department maintains local streets, parks, beaches, and City-owned facilities while providing essential services such as snow plowing our streets, routine street maintenance, and facility upkeep.

Keego Harbor's public water and sanitary sewer systems are operated through a partnership with the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (WRC), while the DPW works closely with the WRC to support local infrastructure and respond to service needs within the community.

Residential solid waste, recycling, and yard waste collection are provided by Priority Waste under contract with the City. Residents may submit a service ticket on the Priority Waste services website: Keego Harbor, MI - Priority Waste

The City Department of Public Works (DPW) provides the following: road repair, sidewalk repair, cleaning, maintenance and snow removal of municipal roads, city parks and city-owned properties plus much more.
