Road Work

1. UPDATE from RCOC website on August 9
CASS LAKE ROAD TO CLOSE STARTING AUG. 10, FROM CASS ELIZABETH ROAD TO ORCHARD LAKE ROAD

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Cass Lake Road to through traffic between Cass Elizabeth Road and Orchard Lake Road in Waterford Twp. and Keego Harbor starting on Aug. 15 to replace the culvert that carries the road over the Cass Lake/Otter Lake Canal.
The road is expected to re-open in late September.
During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be Cass Elizabeth Road to Cooley Lake Road to Hiller Road to Commerce Road to Orchard Lake Road and back to Cass Lake Road and vice versa. Access to homes and businesses in the closed section will be maintained north and south of the culvert through the duration of the project.

2. *****Lane Shift*****
Cass Lake Rd from Orchard Lake Rd to Otter Rd (Keego Harbor north city limit).  Concrete Patching work. The traffic turning from Orchard Lake Rd on to northbound Cass Lake Rd is blocked from using the usual 2 northbound lanes.  The northbound traffic has been shifted to the former southbound left turn lane. The northbound lane is shifted into the Center Turn Lane where the center turn lane starts north of Orchard Lake Rd near Kenrick St all the way to the city limits.
Take care turning onto Cass Lake Road from Orchard Lake Road and pay attention approaching Orchard Lake Road when southbound on Cass Lake Road.
On southbound Cass Lake Rd at Orchard Lake Rd the lanes are reduced to one left turn/straight through lane and a right turn lane.  This is from a left turn lane, a left turn/straight lane and right turn lane that we all are used to.
Follow the lane cones.

3.   LANE CLOSURES ON ORCHARD LAKE ROAD FROM WEST OF MIDDLEBELT RD TO OLD TELEGRAPH RD STARTING JUNE 27.
